Answer summary

The best Fieldly alternative depends on which part of Fieldly you actually use. Fieldly is a Swedish all-in-one system for construction and installation firms, priced from 219 SEK per user per month (Go, minimum 2 users) to 699 SEK (Unlimited, minimum 10 users), with its scheduler from the Pro package and its staff ledger (personalliggare) only in Unlimited. For cheaper time reporting and a site diary, Crewlog costs 179 SEK per user with no minimum, but does not schedule crews. Bygglet's Tid package covers projects, time and the staff ledger for 719 SEK a month including six users. Struqtur Komplett adds quotes, invoicing and a personalliggare from 199 SEK per user, with planning as a 219 SEK add-on. Next suits larger firms from 2,100 SEK per company per month. SubShare covers crew scheduling only, free for up to 10 people.

Fieldly is a capable system. It runs projects and work orders, time and expense reports, quotes, invoicing and, in its top package, an ID06-accredited digital staff ledger. Teams look for an alternative for one of three reasons: the per-user price across every field worker, the minimum user counts on the bigger packages, or paying for a broad system when they use one or two parts of it. This guide compares five alternatives on 2026 list prices and features, with the monthly cost for a 10-person crew worked out for each.

What is Fieldly, and what does it cost?

Fieldly is a Swedish field-service and project management system for construction and installation companies: electricians, plumbers, carpenters, painters, groundworks and larger contractors. Office staff work in a web platform, and field workers use a mobile app to report time, travel and expenses, work through work orders and file field reports. It connects to accounting systems such as Fortnox and Visma and runs in nine languages, including Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish and English. Fieldly sells three packages, priced per user per month: Go at 219 SEK with at least 2 users, Pro at 439 SEK with at least 3, and Unlimited at 699 SEK with at least 10, all on annual billing. Pro adds projects, quotes, checklists, a site diary and the scheduler. Only Unlimited includes the staff ledger. Fieldly also handles change orders, and its construction diary follows the AFC 37 standard.

From Fieldly's public pricing page (sv.fieldly.com/pricing), checked September 24, 2026. Fieldly lists the annual price as a 20% saving on quarterly billing.

Why do teams look for a Fieldly alternative?

  • Every field worker is a paid user. A 10-person crew on Fieldly Pro costs 4,390 SEK a month on annual billing.
  • Minimums on the bigger packages. Pro needs at least 3 users and Unlimited at least 10.
  • The staff ledger sits in the top package. Swedish construction sites must keep an electronic staff ledger under Skatteverket's rules, and a firm that wants it in Fieldly pays 699 SEK per user with a 10-user minimum: at least 6,990 SEK a month.
  • Scheduling starts at Pro. Go users cannot plan crews in Fieldly.
  • Breadth you may not use. If you only need time reporting, or only scheduling, a focused tool costs less.

Per-user pricing means the gap widens as the crew grows. At 40 people, Fieldly Pro costs 17,560 SEK a month on annual billing, against 8,760 SEK for Fieldly Go, 8,259 SEK for Struqtur Komplett and 7,160 SEK for Crewlog. Bygglet Tid starts cheapest for small crews but ends at 9,865 SEK, because each app user past the first five costs 269 SEK.

Line chart of monthly SEK cost from 5 to 40 people: Fieldly Pro rises to 17,560; the others end between 7,160 and 9,865.

Monthly list cost for a 10-person crew, September 2026. The tools do different amounts of work; compare features in the table above before comparing prices.

1. Crewlog: the cheapest way to replace Fieldly time reporting

Best for: Time reporting and a site diary, offline · 179 SEK per user/month, no minimum

Crewlog is a Swedish app built around what a crew records every day: hours, materials, mileage and a digital site diary with weather, staffing and signatures. It is built offline-first, so reports can be filed without mobile coverage and sync later, and payroll data exports to Fortnox and Spiris.

At 179 SEK per user per month with no minimum, a 10-person crew costs 1,790 SEK a month, less than Fieldly Go. The trade-off is scope: Crewlog does not schedule crews, and it describes itself as simpler than broader systems like Fieldly and Struqtur.

Choose Crewlog over Fieldly if

  • Time reporting and the site diary are the Fieldly features you really use.
  • You work in places without coverage and need offline-first reporting.
  • You have fewer than three users and hit Fieldly Pro's minimum.

Where Crewlog falls short

  • No crew scheduling or resource planning.
  • Narrower than all-in-one systems like Fieldly.

2. Bygglet: fixed-price packages with the staff ledger included

Best for: Small construction firms that need a personalliggare · Tid package 719 SEK/month incl. 6 users

Bygglet is a Swedish system for construction companies and craftspeople that covers the path from budget and quote to time sheets and invoices, with tools for quality, environment and work-environment documentation. Its electronic staff ledger (personalliggare) is included in every package: workers and subcontractors check in and out in the app, and the ledger can be exported for the Swedish Tax Agency.

The Tid package costs 719 SEK a month on annual billing and includes one admin and five app users, with extra app users at 269 SEK each. That puts a 10-person crew at 1,795 SEK a month, including the staff ledger that Fieldly reserves for its Unlimited package. Larger packages (Mini, Bas and Total) are priced per admin user on a sliding scale.

Choose Bygglet over Fieldly if

  • You need a personalliggare but not Fieldly Unlimited's 10-user minimum.
  • You want quotes, time and invoicing from one Swedish vendor.
  • Quality and work-environment documentation matter on your jobs.

Where Bygglet falls short

  • The Tid package is time-focused; broader features sit in higher packages.
  • Pricing per admin in Bas and Total takes some working out for your team.

3. Struqtur: quote-to-invoice for craftspeople, planning as an add-on

Best for: Electricians, plumbers and builders who want quote-to-invoice · From 199 SEK per user/month + 299 SEK base

Struqtur is a Swedish project tool built for craftspeople in construction, electrical, plumbing and ventilation. Struqtur Komplett covers time reporting, quotes, invoicing and a personalliggare in the mobile and web apps, for 199 SEK per user per month plus a 299 SEK base fee. A lighter Struqtur Tid package handles time reporting only, from 129 SEK per user plus a 199 SEK base fee.

Resource planning is an add-on at 219 SEK a month. A 10-person crew on Komplett costs 2,289 SEK a month, or 2,508 SEK with planning, which is close to Fieldly Go but with the staff ledger included.

Choose Struqtur over Fieldly if

  • You want quotes, time, invoicing and a staff ledger at close to Fieldly Go's price.
  • You would rather add planning as a module than pay for a bigger package.
  • Your team is mostly one trade, such as electrical or plumbing.

Where Struqtur falls short

  • Planning costs extra.
  • Base fees add to the per-user price for very small teams.

4. Next: a bigger system for larger construction and service firms

Best for: Larger firms that want full project and finance control · From 2,100 SEK per company/month

Next, from Next One Technology, is a Swedish project management system for construction and service companies. It prices per company rather than per user: Foundation from 2,100 SEK a month, Core from 4,195 SEK and Professional from 6,295 SEK. Every package includes project management, time reporting and invoicing; Core adds time and resource planning, document management and change-order (ÄTA) handling.

For a 10-person crew, Next Core costs about as much as Fieldly Pro. The case for Next is growth: per-company pricing gets cheaper per head as the team grows, and its project and finance control goes further than a field app.

Choose Next over Fieldly if

  • You are a larger firm where per-user pricing is becoming expensive.
  • You need change orders, documents and resource planning in one system.
  • You want the office and the field on the same project numbers.

Where Next falls short

  • More system than a small crew needs.
  • Prices are "from" figures; get a quote for your setup.

5. SubShare: crew scheduling without an app for every worker

Best for: planning who does what, when · Free up to 10 people

Disclosure: SubShare is our product, and it is built for the part of Fieldly that decides whether a day goes to plan: the scheduling. A foreman or lead engineer puts every job on a person with a duration, drags jobs when someone is off sick or a delivery is late, and each worker opens their own plan from a permanent link sent by text or WhatsApp. They see the address, access code and attached drawings in the phone's browser, without an account or an app, and the plan stays readable without signal once opened. Workers tick jobs done from their phone, and the board flags anyone booked twice.

Because workers never get an account, SubShare prices by crew size, not per user: free for up to 10 people, $29 a month for up to 20 and $59 for up to 40 (see pricing). A Fieldly Go team that only lacks the scheduler can add it this way instead of moving every user to Pro. The interface is in English, and the demo board runs without signing up.

Choose SubShare over Fieldly if

  • Planning who goes where is the problem, and your workers will not install another app.
  • You want to add scheduling to Fieldly Go, Crewlog or another time-reporting tool.
  • Your crew is 10 people or fewer and you want to start free.

Where SubShare falls short

  • No time reporting, invoicing or personalliggare; pair it with your time-reporting tool.

Which Fieldly alternative should you choose?

  • Cheaper time reporting and a site diary → Crewlog.
  • A staff ledger without a 10-user minimum → Bygglet or Struqtur Komplett.
  • Quotes, time and invoicing close to Fieldly Go's price → Struqtur Komplett.
  • A larger firm outgrowing per-user pricing → Next.
  • Only crew scheduling, with no app for workers → SubShare, alone or next to your time-reporting tool.
  • You use projects, work orders, scheduler and ledger together → Staying on Fieldly may be the right call.

How we compared

Every price and package detail here comes from the vendor's own public pricing or product page, read on September 24, 2026 and quoted in Swedish kronor as published. The 10-person crew is one office user and nine field users who all need access, on annual billing where a vendor offers it, and each monthly total is our own arithmetic from those list prices. No vendor in this list paid for placement or saw the article before publication. SubShare is ours, and its section says so.
